After School Program
The St. Paul’s After School Program serves children grades 2-5 in the greater Paterson, NJ area. The main goal of the program is to meet the academic needs of the children. Through mentoring, enrichment classes, field trips and community service, the program consistently helps the students to grow and progress academically. During the school year, the program is from 3:30-6:00 pm, Monday – Friday at a low cost to the families. Transportation and healthy snacks are provided at no additional cost.
Discovery Camp
St. Paul’s Discovery Camp is a companion program to the After School Program. The program has been in existence for three years and operates for 5 weeks over the summer from 8:30 am- 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday. The main goal is to prevent summer learning loss which is more prevalent in urban areas. However, during their camp experience, children engage in hands-on projects, field trips and other recreational activities as well. Literacy skill development is a top priority in the summer program as well.
